Our Story
Big Number Academy wasn’t born from a business plan.
It was born from a parent’s love, a child’s curiosity, and a simple wish for a world that fits. Big Number Academy began at home, with a child who was deeply drawn to numbers. Not just counting, but big numbers, patterns, and how things worked. I wanted to support that curiosity, but I struggled to find online spaces that felt right. Many were too distracting, too pressured, or simply not designed for the way he liked to explore.
So I started building something myself.
The Moment Everything Changed
It Started with a Question About a Googolplex
As parents, we sometimes notice interests that run deep. For us, it was numbers, especially very large ones.
A Googleplex became a regular topic of conversation. Not because it was something to learn for school, but because it was fascinating.
That curiosity led to a simple question.
What would a calm, thoughtful space for exploring numbers actually look like?
One without noise, pressure, or distraction.
One where curiosity could lead the way.
That question became the starting point for Big Number Academy.
From Our Family to Yours
My wife and I knew we had to create that space.
We knew our son needed a space where his interest in numbers could grow naturally.
A space where he could spend time exploring ideas deeply, without being rushed or pushed forward.
Big Number Academy was shaped around those moments. Quiet moments of focus, repetition, and discovery.
It wasn’t built to test or measure.
It was built to feel calm, predictable, and enjoyable.
